Dear Colleagues,
We are happy to welcome you to the Fundamental Respiratory Care Support Course (FRCS), a non-for-profit two days course established under the auspice of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), in collaboration with the American Respiratory Care Foundation (ARCF).
The course will be held at Alfaisal University, Riyadh, Saudia Arabia, in collaboration with Saudi Society for Respiratory Care (SSRC), and multiple participations from multiple Respiratory Care Departments and Programs in Saudi Arabia. The course will be held at Alfaisal University Campus on 27-28 September 2024.
The FRCS Scientific Committee is planning a comprehensive program covering all important aspects of Respiratory Care, including but not limited to the fundamental respiratory care modalities such as anatomy and physiology, patient assessment, Oxygen and Humidity Therapy, Aerosol Therapy, and Airway Clearance and Lung Expansion Therapies. Additionally various advanced as well as Critical Care aspects of Respiratory Critical Care, topics include Airway Management, Noninvasive Respiratory Support, Ventilator Modes, Advanced Patient Monitoring & Waveform Analysis, Lung Protective Ventilation Approaches in Various Diseases, Liberation from Mechanical Ventilation, Cardiopulmonary Disorders in Acute Respiratory Care, PFT, Sleep Disorders, and Asthma and COPD Management. The course will be complemented by eight (8) state-of-the-art clinical skill stations/ workshops.
Whether you're a seasoned professional or just beginning your journey in healthcare, this course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in respiratory care. Throughout this program, you'll delve into the intricacies of respiratory anatomy, learn about common respiratory conditions, master diagnostic techniques, and explore the latest advancements in respiratory treatment modalities.
